Sony mdr-v6 headphones review
Today we are going to review the Sony MDVR-V6 Headphones . The Sony mdr-v6 heaphones are considered a mid-grade studio monitor headphone and cost under $100 dollars. These headphones have been around for a few decades, for a reason. After having these headphones for several years I can say that they are unmatched in the under $100 dollar range. Not only do I use these headphones for tracking and mixing, they offer enough clarity that I also use them for audio repair projects and dialog editing.
These headphones have lasted me several years of hardcore use. Unlike many other headphones, the wire has also stood the test of time. They are adjustable and offer great comfort. You can wear these headphones for hours at a time without even noticing!
The only wear and tear I have experienced with the Sony mdr-v6 headphones is the ear pads do seem to wear down and come off a little faster than my other headphones. However, for $10 bucks or so, you can get replacement ear pads.
The Sony mdr-v6 headphones are my #1 recommended headphones for a small budget home studio. Heck, they are my recommendation for a large budget studio as well! Don't let the price tag fool you, these are top notch headphones which will not disappoint.
